Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shepard (ranked 3665 p4p, 25477 weight class) and James Marlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Marlow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marlow tries a head kick but it misses.
Marlow shoots in looking for a takedown. Shepard tries to sprawl out of it but Marlow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shepard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Marlow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marlow.
Shepard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Marlow to the ground. Shepard is now in Marlow's guard.
