The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
marley is looking to clinch.
Longoria II looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Longoria II is pressed up against the cage. marley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Longoria II down to the mat. Longoria II avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Longoria II changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. marley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Longoria II shoots in but marley avoids the takedown attempt easily.

marley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Longoria II is looking for a sweep. marley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
marley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Longoria II with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Evan Longoria II will probably get the nod.

Longoria II connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused marley some visible discomfort.
marley is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Longoria II is working to tighten is grip on marley's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. marley has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Longoria II is really squeezing tight and eventually marley passes out! Longoria II breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
