Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dzsoni Botos (ranked 4150 p4p, 4428 weight class) and Mack Schroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack Schroy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dzsoni Botos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mack Schroy!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botos jabs Schroy right on the nose. Schroy blinks but takes it well.
Botos connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Schroy momentarily.
Botos throws the left hand but Schroy avoids the punch easily.
Botos connects with the punch.
Schroy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Schroy is rocked!
Schroy shoots in but Botos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Schroy fails to land the takedown.
Botos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Schroy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Schroy wants to clinch up but Botos keeps it at a distance.
Dzsoni Botos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Botos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Schroy is still on wobbly legs! Can Botos finish him?
It looks like Mack Schroy has been cut.
Schroy wants to clinch up but Botos keeps it at a distance.
Schroy seems to have recovered his senses.
Schroy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Botos.
Schroy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Botos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Schroy's head.
Schroy wants to clinch up but Botos keeps it at a distance.
Botos cracks Schroy with a good jab.
Schroy fails with the takedown.
Dzsoni Botos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mack Schroy.
Schroy misses with a takedown attempt - Botos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Botos lands with a right hand.
Schroy throws a push kick but Botos slaps the foot to one side.
Botos lands a left and a right that send Schroy crashing to the mat, dazed. Botos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dzsoni Botos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schroy scores with a nice body kick.
Botos lands a big right hand that sends Schroy crashing to the mat! Botos stays standing though and waves Schroy back to his feet!
Botos punishes Schroy's body with a nice straight punch.
Schroy looks winded!
Botos ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Schroy out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dzsoni Botos!
