The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Sensei manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hageman on his heels. He'll look to pass Hageman's guard now, I'm sure.

Sensei is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hageman sees it coming and defends easily.

Sensei looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hageman is staying active underneath Sensei, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
