Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 1842 p4p, 2318 weight class) and Josue Souza (ranked 211 p4p, 257 weight class). Brock Lesnar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Josue Souza's chin.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza lands a head shot.

Lesnar gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Souza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lesnar is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Souza.

Lesnar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Souza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lesnar postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

and Souza counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Souza.

Lesnar is trying to drag Souza to the mat but Souza just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Souza prevents a takedown attempt there.

Souza tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Souza slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lesnar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Souza should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lesnar has tightened it up now! Souza should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
