And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 10 losses; Vasiliy Kulik!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kulik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kulik is having to fend off submission attempts from MacGowan, who is looking to sink in the choke. MacGowan doesn't have the hooks in though and Kulik manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Kulik got a little sloppy there for a moment and MacGowan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kulik has managed to get both his arms back between MacGowan's legs - danger averted.
