The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darcey pushes Voljtech up against the cage in a clinch.
Darcey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Voljtech tries to score a body lock takedown but Darcey shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Darcey manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Darcey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Darcey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Voljtech. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Voljtech is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Darcey is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Voljtech is fighting to break Darcey's control of his arms but Darcey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Darcey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Voljtech is fending him off so far but Darcey persists. Nope, Voljtech circles away and we're back to standing.
Darcey throws a head kick but Voljtech moves out of range.
Voljtech shoots for a takedown but Darcey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Voljtech. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Voljtech is breathing heavily.
Darcey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Voljtech but Voljtech pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Voljtech looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Darcey is fending him off so far but Voljtech persists. Nope, Darcey circles away and we're back to standing.
Darcey clinches up with Voljtech and pushes him back against the cage.
Darcey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Voljtech uses from the top position.
