The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halkias scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Halkias pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smith back to the cage. Halkias follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Halkias takes the fight into the clinch.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Halkias won't allow it.

Halkias prevents the takedown attempt.
Halkias lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Smith or not.

We've been hearing reports that Smith has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Halkias lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Halkias takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Halkias pushes Smith up against the cage in a clinch.

Halkias manages to break the clinch.

and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've been informed that Halkias has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Halkias paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Halkias throws an overhand right that drops Smith like a sack of potatoes! Halkias dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
