Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braynas Hlervu (ranked 24 p4p, 396 weight class) and Ispa Mfer (ranked 2 p4p, 27 weight class). Hlervu comes into the arena with Al Qawlu Qawlu Sawarim blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Ispa Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer throws a big shot that misses.
Mfer thows a leg kick but Hlervu checks it
and Hlervu counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mfer misses with a hook.
Hlervu is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Mfer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hlervu misses with a looping right.
Hlervu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hlervu avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hlervu is looking to counter with a body kick.
Mfer moves out of range as Hlervu strikes.
Hlervu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mfer.
Mfer takes a swing at Hlervu's ribcage but misses.
Hlervu throwing a counter right hand but Mfer manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hlervu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mfer throws a lazy uppercut
and Hlervu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mfer thinking.
Hlervu lands the left hand.
Hlervu takes a swing at Mfer's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hlervu throws a body shot but no joy.
Hlervu lands an overhand right.
Mfer is rocked!
Mfer throws a lazy uppercut
and Hlervu counters with a big right hand! Oh Mfer is in trouble here! Hlervu follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
