Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bradock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronan Matheus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Matheus circles away.
Bradock has closed the distance and engaged Matheus in a clinch.

Bradock moves in looking to clinch but Matheus pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Matheus swivels and escapes.

Bradock is looking to improve his position but Matheus isn't that keen on the idea.

Matheus is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bradock has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bradock!

Matheus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bradock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bradock trying to control the position from guard on top but Matheus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bradock avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Matheus has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bradock is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Matheus.
Matheus looks gassed!
Bradock has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A head kick from Bradock lands but Matheus takes it in his stride.
Bradock wants to clinch up but Matheus keeps it at a distance.
Matheus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Matheusis looking to pass into half guard but Bradock pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bradock is in guard.

Matheus wants to sweep but Bradock has passed to side control!
The referee asks Bradock politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bradock prefers to stall for the moment though.

Matheus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bradock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Matheus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bradock's back instead.
Matheus is looking for the choke from the back position but Bradock is controlling his hands well.
Matheus is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Bradock turns into Matheus and is now in his guard.
Matheus is breathing heavily.

Bradock stands up and waves to Matheus to follow him.
Bradock pushes Matheus up against the cage in a clinch.
Bradock pulls guard.
Bradock has his feet on Matheus's thighs here. He's pushed Matheus off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Matheus screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
