Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Watson (ranked 3213 p4p, 4636 weight class) and Salim Jihadov (ranked 480 p4p, 597 weight class). Jake Watson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Salim Jihadov! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jihadov ducks right into an uppercut from Watson. Watson works Jihadov's body with a nice hook. Jihadov's coach down at Trials Of Fortitude was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jihadov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Jihadov throws a one two combo.
A jab from Watson misses. A slow jab from Watson misses its intended target. As Watson backs off Jihadov throws a huge counter combo but Watson manages to avoid it all. Jihadov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jihadov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Jihadov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Watson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jihadov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jihadov misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jihadov loads up on a big right hand but Watson slips the punch. Jihadov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Watson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jihadov! Watson lets Jihadov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Jihadov is rocked! Watson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jihadov. Jihadov looks up at the clock. Bad move! Watson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jihadov. Watson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Watson! A victorious Jake Watson thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
