The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Needle drives through with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Needle looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Needle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Needle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Needle rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Needle is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
