The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurbolatov blocks a jab.
Aya throws a lazy uppercut
and Nurbolatov counters with a takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Aya's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nurbolatov advances to mount.
Aya tries to hold on but Nurbolatov pushes him away.
Aya reaches up to try and control the position but Nurbolatov seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Aya rolls and tries to escape and now Nurbolatov has his back!
Aya just trying to survive but Nurbolatov is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nurbolatov is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Aya taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Nurbolatov.
