Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, FrankFurt Livingstone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vahur Malk! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Livingstone gets caught napping as Malk dives in and scores a takedown. Livingstone manages to retain guard. Malk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Malk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Malk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Malk wants to control from the top but Livingstone keeps moving. Malk passes Livingstone's left leg - he's now in half guard. Malk is trying to work for a kimura but Livingstone is defending well.
Malk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Livingstone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malk. Malk is keen to just control but Livingstone is a slippery customer. Malk is looking for a kimura here.

Livingstone is not content to let Malk control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Malk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Malk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Livingstone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Malk prevents Livingstone from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Livingstone is staying active underneath Malk, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Malk passes to side control. Malk advances nicely into full mount. Malk trying to control but Livingstone is having none of it. Malk is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Malk!
