Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trent Mike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kyong U Jing!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
U Jing stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and U Jing wants it to stay on the feet.
Despite the aggression on U Jing's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Oooh a lovely combination from U Jing sends Mike down but not out. U Jing dives into side control looking to finish.
Mike is rocked!
It looks like Trent Mike has been cut.
Mike is trying to escape the position but U Jing is controlling the position.
Oh Mike is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
U Jing stands up and we're back to a striking position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
U Jing pushes Mike up against the cage in a clinch.
U Jing lands a body punch.
Mike seems to have got his legs back now.
Mike is breathing heavily.
Mike tries to land knees in the clinch but U Jing avoids the damage to the body.
U Jing is leaning against Mike and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
U Jing breaks the clinch.
U Jing scores with a jab to the body.
U Jing rushes Mike and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
U Jing lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mike backwards.
U Jing digs a right hand into Mike's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mike's gas tank.
U Jing lands a left hand.
U Jing gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Mike wants to get back to his feet but U Jing passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
U Jing stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
U Jing moves into the clinch successfully.
U Jing lands a knee to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that U Jing has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
U Jing works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
U Jing breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
U Jing connects with a body shot.
Kyong U Jing is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
U Jing batters Mike with a massive right followed by a huge left! Mike is out on his feet looking like a zombie as U Jing lands a final crushing right hand to drop Mike to the mat with a gruesome thud! U Jing is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kyong U Jing!
