Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohan Draxinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuanwei Fenfang!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draxinger tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fenfang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fenfang moves out of range of the leg kick from Draxinger.
Draxinger just misses with a punch to the body.

Fenfang moves out of range as Draxinger throws a body kick.
Fenfang is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Draxinger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Fenfang counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Fenfang postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Draxinger is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fenfang, into his guard.

Our spies down at at Hellfire Academy inform us that Fenfang has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Fenfang tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fenfang is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Draxinger frees his head nicely. Oh but Fenfang has switched to an armbar! Draxinger is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
