Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tazigaki Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Won't Get Fooled Again. Tazigaki Miyamoto had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tazigaki Miyamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Hansen! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyamoto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miyamoto is looking to clinch but Hansen is avoiding it.
Hansen moves into the clinch. Hansen lands with a short shot to the head. Hansen slows down the pace here.

Hansen lands a good knee to the midsection. Miyamoto won't want to take too many of those. Miyamoto working hard to break the clinch. Miyamoto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Miyamoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hansen can pounce on him.
Miyamoto lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hansen circles away from the clinch attempt and Hansen counters with a single leg into guard. Miyamoto didn't expect that. Hansen forces his way into half guard. Hansen controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyamoto looks like he's trying to stand up.
Miyamoto is not content to let Hansen control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miyamoto wants to get back to his feet.
Hansen slips a nice elbow through Miyamoto's hands, connecting with Miyamoto's forehead. Hansen slows the pace down in half guard. Miyamoto is refusing to be controlled, as Hansen sits in half guard. Miyamoto tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Hansen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hansen blocks the strikes from Miyamoto.
Miyamoto wants to get back to his feet. Hansen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hansen connects with a nice short shot to Miyamoto's temple. Hansen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hansen passes to full mount! Hansen won't let Miyamoto get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Miyamoto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Miyamoto tries to get out of the position. Miyamoto is breathing heavily. The referee warns Miyamoto that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hansen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hansen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Hansen lands a big shot there that rocks Miyamoto but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hansen lands a nice shot to the head.
Miyamoto is rocked! Hansen is landing with some decent strikes but Miyamoto is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Oh Miyamoto is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hansen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Miyamoto's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansen is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hansen lands a heavy elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansen throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Miyamoto has his hands clasped together but Hansen breaks the hold and Miyamoto is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hansen!
