Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Torsten Mjölnir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Dmitriev!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mjölnir tries to land a body kick
and Dmitriev counters with a nice right hand that sends Mjölnir toppling to the canvas! Mjölnir scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dmitriev finish him?!
Mjölnir tries a head kick but it misses.
Mjölnir rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dmitriev counters with a body kick that stops Mjölnir in his tracks momentarily.
Mjölnir throws a jab but it's blocked by Dmitriev.
Mjölnir uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dmitriev.
Mjölnir looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Mjölnir is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mjölnir throws a right hand that Dmitriev ducks under and follows up with a left that Dmitriev also avoids with ease.
Mjölnir keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mjölnir looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mjölnir has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dmitriev.
Mjölnir is breathing heavily.
Mjölnir misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dmitriev clinches up with Mjölnir and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dmitriev.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dmitriev creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dmitriev swings wildly with an uppercut but Mjölnir uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dmitriev working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dmitriev works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Dmitriev drops Mjölnir onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Mjölnir is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Mjölnir is rocked!
Dmitriev loads up on a right hand - it lands flush and knocks Mjölnir senseless! What a punch!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fyodor Dmitriev!
