This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 32 wins and 11 losses; Nick Rodriquez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 28 wins and 28 losses; Long Wang! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Wang darts in and clinches Rodriquez up against the ropes. Wang wants to take the fight to the mat but Rodriquez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Wang tries for a takedown but Rodriquez manages to get underhooks.
Rodriquez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wang clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! And that's the end of the fight! Rodriquez takes the fight on points by 28 to 4. Nick Rodriquez decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Long Wang spoke after the fight, saying 'No worries. Everyone here knows my opponent has a bad habit of testing positive for PEDs, so I'm sure this fight will soon be ruled a 'No Contest' by the Athletic Commission.'. |
