Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit (ranked 1025 p4p, 1352 weight class) and Curtis Rome (ranked 135 p4p, 179 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curtis Rome!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rome slips a jab and a cross from Sitsongrit.
Rome fails to land the takedown.
Sitsongrit uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rome has time to react.
Rome shoots for a takedown but Sitsongrit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sitsongrit dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rome. That did some damage!
The fighters circle momentarily. Sitsongrit darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sitsongrit misses with an uppercut.
Rome shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sitsongrit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rome circles away quickly and effectively.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rome! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sitsongrit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rome was well out of range. Poor timing from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit works Rome's body with a nice hook.
Sitsongrit jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rome takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Sitsongrit lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rome doesn't seem phased though.

Rome has his takedown stuffed
and Rome takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Rome.
Some wild striking there from Sitsongrit.
Rome tries to clinch up but Sitsongrit circles away and keeps his distance.
Sitsongrit cracks Rome with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sitsongrit throws the kick towards the body but Rome avoids it.
Rome bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rome moves out of range as Sitsongrit strikes.
Sitsongrit takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A cross from Sitsongrit lands.
Rome walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit misses the shot to the body.
Rome has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit cracks Rome with an open hand slap.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rome shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rome showed some decent athleticism there.
Sitsongrit tries to kick Rome off but Rome keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Rome looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sitsongrit looks like he's trying to stand up.

Rome is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Rome is trying to control. Sitsongrit wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Sitsongrit makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Sitsongrit throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A little jabbing left from Rome on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sitsongrit lands with a nice body punch.
Rome takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rome closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sitsongrit's guard.
Rome works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sitsongrit wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sitsongrit is defending against the submission attempts here by Rome.

Sitsongrit is in trouble now - Rome has advanced to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sitsongrit is trying to stand.

Rome moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sitsongrit has worked his arm free - good work by Sitsongrit!

Rome is working to tighten his grip on Sitsongrit's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sitsongrit has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rome is really squeezing tight and eventually Sitsongrit passes out! Rome breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
