Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23749 p4p, 24059 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 37 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Libat bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nada tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Libat wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Libat is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Libat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nada keeps working. Nada tries to buck Libat off but Libat is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada struggling a bit here. Libat in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat is looking to take a break and control but Nada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Libat darts in looking for a takedown but Nada gets double underhooks and turns Libat into the cage. Nada replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well. Libat is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nada is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Libat to the mat. Libat regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Libat pulls Nada in close to prevent any damage. Nada controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nada won't allow Libat to sweep him here. Libat is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Nada postures up in Libat's guard and throws a big left but Libat blocks it. Libat is adopting a defensive guard. Libat lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada looking to control.
Nada bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Libat's guard. Nada is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. It looks like Nada might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Libat pulls Nada in close to prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Higanti Libat will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nada is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Libat's half guard. Nada is thwarting Libat's attempts to control the position. Libat desperately trying to maintain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nada. Way Nada has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat keeping hold of Nada's head, controlling as best he can. Libat continues to stall. Libat trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Libat is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nada controlling from mount. Nada unloads with some shots from mount but Libat bucks and avoids them well.
Nada content just to control the position here. Nada has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Nada throwing strikes here but Libat is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nada sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Libat suckers Nada into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Libat is now in Nada's guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Libat controls the pace. Nada wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat wants to control from the top but Nada keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Libat moves out of range of the body kick from Nada.
Nada dives in for a single leg takedown but Libat sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Libat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nada replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Nada with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Libat defends it nicely. Libat jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Nada scores with a spinning back kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nada scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Libat has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nada is working away from the top position though. Nada is trying to control. Libat wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Nada missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Libat is looking for a sweep. Nada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Libat trying to control but Nada postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nada with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense. Libat thinks about countering with a body kick. A momentary lapse in concentration from Nada enables Libat to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nada manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nada has his feet on Libat's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nada trying to control the pace. Libat wants to control but Nada is keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Way Nada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
