Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buck Lidell (ranked 4216 p4p, 4215 weight class) and Anthony Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lidell stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Lidell connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith fails with the takedown
letting Lidell counter with a right hand.
Smith loads up on a big right hand but Lidell slips the punch.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lidell sprawls well. Lidell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Lidell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Lidell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lidell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
