Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez connects with a jab.

Germic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Germic waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Alvarez.
It looked like Alvarez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Germic looks to land a right hand but Alvarez moved out of range.
Alvarez was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Germic will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Germic tries to bum rush Alvarez with a series of wild strikes but Alvarez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez throws a leg kick but Germic sees it coming and moves out of range.
Germic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alvarez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Alvarez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Germic throws a lazy right hand but Alvarez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Germic rushes Alvarez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Alvarez tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Germic creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Alvarez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Germic smiles and moves away.
Germic tries to land a leg kick but Alvarez saw it coming and moves away.
No joy there for Alvarez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Germic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alvarez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Germic takes a jab right on the kisser.

Germic takes the fight into the clinch.

Alvarez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alvarez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Alvarez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Alvarez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Germic defends well.

Alvarez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Germic doesn't defend quickly enough and Alvarez has managed to lock this one up! Can Germic escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Alvarez on a fantastic submission victory.
