Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marc Stone (ranked 5659 p4p, 24140 weight class) and Jon Alexander (ranked 471 p4p, 488 weight class). Alexander has chosen "Land of Confusion" by Disturbed as his entrance music. Jon Alexander is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marc Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Alexander! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander tries to bum rush Stone with a series of wild strikes but Stone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Alexander misses with a series of wild punches.
Alexander closes the distance and pushes Stone back into the cage. Alexander misses with a hook from the clinch. Alexander has a couple of punches blocked by Stone.
Alexander landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Stone has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Alexander throws a punch but it's blocked by Stone. Alexander lands a knee to the body.
Stone is breathing heavily. Stone has had enough of the clinch but Alexander keeps him there for the moment. Alexander's coach down at Pure Progress Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Alexander's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alexander lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Stone throws a knee to the head but misses.
Alexander prevents Stone from breaking the clinch. Alexander misses with an elbow over the top. A knee to the head by Alexander.
Alexander swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Alexander working aggressively here.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alexander creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Alexander escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center. Alexander will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alexander pushes Stone up against the cage in a clinch. Stone looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Stone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Alexander struggles to land a body shot inside as Stone controls his hands.
Stone wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Alexander breaks from the clinch.
Alexander clinches up with Stone and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alexander landing knees to the head.
Alexander pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Alexander is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Stone like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Stone from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Alexander! Jumping up and down and very excited, Jon Alexander waved his t-shirt featuring Flawless Victory Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
