Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lieutenant Nog (ranked 954 p4p, 1526 weight class) and Max Termassus (ranked 148 p4p, 237 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nog might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to House of Pain - Put on Your Shit Kickers. Lieutenant Nog could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Max Termassus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lieutenant Nog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Termassus!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Termassus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Termassus fails with the takedown.
Termassus misses with a hook.
Termassus misses with a hook to the body
and Termassus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Max Termassus has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Termassus has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Nog counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Nog counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Nog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nog scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nog throws a lazy right hand but Termassus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nog swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And Termassus tries to counter it with a takedown but Nog pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Termassus lunges at Nog with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nog's hand.
Nog darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nog cracks Termassus with a good jab.
Nog scores with a kick to the body.

Termassus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed right hand from Nog misses the target.

and Nog counters with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Nog counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Nog tries to move into range but Termassus moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Termassus checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nog throws a leg kick which misses Termassus's front leg but catches the back leg as Termassus tries to avoid it.

A counter left hand to the body from Nog misses its target.

And Nog counters with a quick kick to the body but Termassus blocks it.
Nog avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Nog defending well as Termassus loads up on a big left hand.
Termassus ducks under a wild hook from Nog.
Termassus misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Nog counters with an inside leg kick.
Nog cracks Termassus with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Termassus looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nog finish him?
Termassus connects with a body shot.
Termassus shoots in for a double leg but Nog sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lieutenant Nog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Termassus.
Nog drops Termassus with a straight right hand, right on the button! Nog follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lieutenant Nog!
