The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a series of punches but Dilshaw avoids them all with ease.
Anderson fails to land the takedown.
Anderson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dilshaw gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Anderson.
Dilshaw fails in his attempt to clinch.
Anderson misses with a two punch combination.
Anderson throws a series of punches but Dilshaw moves out of range.
Dilshaw is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anderson drops Dilshaw with a right and a left! Anderson comes rushing in but Dilshaw regains his composure and manages to keep Anderson in guard.

Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dilshaw.

Well, with Dilshaw on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Anderson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Dilshaw's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Anderson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dilshaw is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Anderson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dilshaw is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Anderson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Anderson for a finish.
