Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cirus gets caught flat footed, as Kuznetsov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Cirus wants to get back to his feet but Kuznetsov passes into half guard.
Kuznetsov tries to pass to full mount but Cirus defends it.
Kuznetsov drops an elbow to the side of Cirus's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cirus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuznetsov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kuznetsov decides to stand and escape the position.

Kuznetsov seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Cirus tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Kuznetsov sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Cirus to tap. Impressive finish!
