Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
McPherson is trying to counter with his kicks.
Souza changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Souza fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Souza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McPherson circles away quickly and effectively.
McPherson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Souza is looking to clinch.
McPherson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Souza throws a shot to the body.
McPherson swats away the attempt to clinch by Souza.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Souza tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McPherson counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Josue Souza has been cut.
Souza fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McPherson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Souza lands with a shot to the body.
McPherson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Souza looks to score with a jab to the body but McPherson is just out of range.

Souza darts in trying to clinch
and McPherson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Souza thinking.
Souza thows a left - swing and a miss!
McPherson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Souza. Souza circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Souza is holding his hands too far apart here. McPherson throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Souza is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
