The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Davis has managed to clinch.
Knight lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Davis is struggling to control the position.

Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Knight cracks Davis with a good jab.
Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Davis wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.

Knight pushes Davis off looking to stand but Davis dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Knight tries to kick Davis off but Davis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Knight stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knight wants it to stay on the feet.

Knight displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Davis.
Knight is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Davis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Knight is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Davis had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knight cracks Davis with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Davis falls to his knees and Knight doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
