Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddie McGee (ranked 2417 p4p, 2938 weight class) and Dallas Winston (ranked 310 p4p, 362 weight class). McGee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, bat outta hell song. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee shoots in and drives through. Winston sprawls well.
A little jabbing left from Winston on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McGee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Winston finds it's way round the side to connect with McGee's head.
Winston scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Freddie McGee has been cut.

McGee closes the distance and pushes Winston back into the cage.
McGee drops down looking for an ankle pick but Winston pulls his leg out and moves away.
Winston scores with a sloppy right hand. McGee should have avoided that one.
Winston misses with a lunging right hand

so McGee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McGee chips away with some ground and pound.
McGee throwing strikes but missing.
McGee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Winston is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Winston uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Dallas Winston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Winston displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGee.

McGee shoots and misses
and Winston counters with a straight right hand.
Winston throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McGee on the side of the head.

Winston wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Dallas Winston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGee is rocked!
Winston is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McGee had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Winston connects with a single shot there.
McGee misses with a takedown attempt
and Winston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oh McGee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Freddie McGee's cut is getting worse.
Winston slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Winston misses with a straight right.
McGee seems to have got his legs back now.
McGee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Winston throws out the jab.
McGee changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Winston might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Winston feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McGee sprawling to the canvas! McGee rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Winston finish him?!
Winston lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Winston throws an overhand right that drops McGee like a sack of potatoes! Winston dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
