Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Livingstone (ranked 24747 p4p, 3824 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 565 p4p, 444 weight class). The key to victory for Harry Livingstone has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harry Livingstone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baki Hanma! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanma rushes Livingstone and presses him up against the ropes. Hanma's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hanma successfully pulls guard.
Hanma wriggles free and stands up. Hanma rushes Livingstone and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Hanma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Harry Livingstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Livingstone shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanma sprawls well. He's pushed Livingstone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hanma wants to counter the offense by Livingstone and move into the clinch position. Hanma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Livingstone steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hanma. That one must have hurt. Hanma slaps away a takedown attempt from Livingstone, before circling back to the center of the mat. Livingstone has his takedown stuffed and Hanma moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Livingstone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanma has picked Livingstone up - he's going for a ride! Hanma dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hanma postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Livingstone to stand up. Hanma fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Livingstone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hanma rushes Livingstone and presses him up against the ropes. Hanma pulls guard effortlessly. Hanma keeping moving, preventing Livingstone from controlling successfully. Hanma is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hanma has Livingstone pressed against the ropes.
Hanma gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Livingstone.
Livingstone is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hanma pulls guard successfully.
Hanma has his feet on Livingstone's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hanma looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hanma escapes and gets back to his feet. Hanma moves into the clinch. Hanma lands a body punch in the clinch. Hanma gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Livingstone regains guard.
Livingstone is working an open guard so Hanma takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Livingstone tries to sprawl but Hanma drives through with a takedown into half guard. Livingstone scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hanma manages to mount him!
Hanma is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Hanma fakes the leg kick and cracks Livingstone in the body. Hanma shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Livingstone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Livingstone is looking to stand back up but Hanma counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Livingstone.
Hanma postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Livingstone to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Hanma. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hanma shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Livingstone's guard. Livingstone wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hanma manages to pass to side control.
Hanma decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Hanma circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Livingstone drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hanma follows Livingstone to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baki Hanma!
