Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mubarak Al Sabah (ranked 4180 p4p, 4174 weight class) and Marijus Svikstys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mubarak Al Sabah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marijus Svikstys!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Sabah lands a jab to Svikstys's midsection.
Al Sabah scores with a jab.
Svikstys shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Al Sabah as he avoids it easily.
Svikstys on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Svikstys on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Svikstys shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Svikstys is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Svikstys trying to control the action but Al Sabah is working from the bottom.
Al Sabah kicks Svikstys off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Al Sabah keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Al Sabah throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Svikstys stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Svikstys has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Al Sabah finds it's way round the side to connect with Svikstys's head.
Svikstys tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Al Sabah swivels and escapes.
Svikstys drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Al Sabah counters with a straight right hand.
Svikstys is rocked!
Mubarak Al Sabah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marijus Svikstys.
Al Sabah lands with a big right hook that stumbles Svikstys - he's out on his feet here! Al Sabah follows up with another monster hook that separates Svikstys from consciousness! Svikstys falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Al Sabah stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mubarak Al Sabah!
Our winner, Mubarak Al Sabah, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
