Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23102 p4p, 5731 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 93 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 86 - 24 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter B looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Fighter A trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B blocks the strikes from Fighter A.
Fighter B content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter A gets caught napping as Fighter B dives in and scores a takedown. Fighter A manages to retain guard. Fighter A is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A has his hands on Fighter B's head, controlling the position. Fighter B wanted to stand there but Fighter A had control of the position. Fighter B prevents Fighter A from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fighter A trying to keep a closed guard but Fighter B is proving a slippery customer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B stays in close to Fighter A's body and controls the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fighter B manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A throws a strike but Fighter B rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Fighter A wants to control the position but Fighter B says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fighter B is thwarting Fighter A's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter B stalling. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fighter A trying to hold on to Fighter B's head to control him but Fighter B postures up.
Fighter A is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fighter A's half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is thwarting Fighter A's attempts to control the position. Fighter A punching from the bottom.
Fighter A keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Fighter B keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Fighter B closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter A, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes Fighter A against the cage but Fighter A circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fighter A is looking to counter the offense by Fighter B and move into the clinch. Fighter B manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter A on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter A's guard now, I'm sure. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter B controls the pace. Fighter A has Fighter B pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A has Fighter B pulled in close to control his posture. Fighter B not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter B shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter A defends it nicely. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into Fighter B's guard. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fighter A scoring with some ground and pound. Fighter B wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fighter B is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A throws an elbow that misses. Fighter B uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter A's guard. Nice move by Fighter B!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Xxx Xxx. I've got Fighter B winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
