Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Mahogany (ranked 1769 p4p, 3592 weight class) and Vern Schullacks (ranked 207 p4p, 389 weight class). Mahogany kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Litty. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Mahogany! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vern Schullacks! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schullacks misses the shot to the body. Vern Schullacks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mahogany shoots in but Schullacks avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mahogany takes the fight into the clinch. Mahogany ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mahogany no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schullacks stands and throws Mahogany's legs to the side, diving into side control. Schullacks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mahogany, who protects the arm well. Mahogany is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Mahogany's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sloppy strikes there by Schullacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mahogany gets back to half guard. Mahogany gets full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mahogany had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Schullacks defends it easily. Mahogany throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Schullacks wants to pass the guard but Mahogany is keeping the position. Schullacks is posturing up here but Mahogany has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Schullacks tries to roll out but it's too tight and Schullacks has to tap! Slick submission there by Mahogany!
