Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kain Veldspar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Heartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heartman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heartman Theme song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! John Heartman acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kain Veldspar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Heartman! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heartman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Veldspar.
Heartman gets caught flat footed, as Veldspar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Heartman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Veldspar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Heartman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Veldspar's back instead. Veldspar is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Well, with Heartman on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Veldspar is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Veldspar is trying to get back to his feet but Heartman has full control of the position and if anything, Veldspar has just worked his way into a worse spot. Heartman controlling well, preventing Veldspar from escaping the position.

Heartman just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Heartman somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Veldspar tries to escape the position.
Veldspar is working hard here to advance position. Heartman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Heartman has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Veldspar's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heartman is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Veldspar with him. Veldspar is trying to defend but Heartman has an arm under the chin now! Veldspar grimaces and is forced to tap out!
