Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Fisher (ranked 123 p4p, 562 weight class) and Mengrire Krenakore (ranked 6 p4p, 44 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mengrire Krenakore! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Fisher's head coaches at Outlaw MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fisher misses with a hook
and Krenakore counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fisher thinking. Fisher walks into a left hand. Fisher dips to his left and cracks Krenakore with an uppercut! Fisher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krenakore.

and Krenakore counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fisher thinking. Fisher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Krenakore. Krenakore lands with a right hand. Krenakore misses with a straight left. Fisher ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fisher thows a leg kick but Krenakore checks it and Krenakore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fisher just misses with a punch to the body.
Krenakore misses with an uppercut. Fisher fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Krenakore on the side of the head. Fisher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Krenakore moves away. Fisher walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Krenakore checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. John Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut lands for Krenakore. That snapped Fisher's head back.
Krenakore's coach down at Tran MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Krenakore's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Krenakore throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fisher misses with a straight left. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A looping hook to the body misses from Krenakore. Fisher does a little dance to reset his feet. It looked like Fisher wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Krenakore moves away. Krenakore moves forwards but Fisher connects with a nice, crisp jab. Fisher connects with a solid leg kick. Fisher misses with a straight right. Fisher throws a jab when Krenakore was well out of range. Krenakore throws a body shot but no joy. Fisher moves out of range as Krenakore strikes. Fisher misses with a body shot
and Fisher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fisher gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Fisher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fisher ducks under a wild hook from Krenakore. Fisher scores with a jab to the body. Krenakore jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Krenakore stuns Fisher with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Krenakore getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Krenakore misses the shot to the body. A little feinted left hand from Fisher on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Krenakore just misses with a punch to the body.

Fisher catches Krenakore with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Krenakore to score with a decent uppercut.
Fisher is rocked! Krenakore lands with a nice body punch. Fisher ducks right into an uppercut from Krenakore. Oh Fisher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Krenakore tries to bum rush Fisher with a series of wild strikes but Fisher uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Krenakore throws an overhand right that lands on Fisher's shoulder, as Fisher tries to avoid the shot. Krenakore lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fisher missing with a left hand there. Krenakore was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fisher swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Krenakore misses with a straight right. Fisher lands a right hook to the body.

It looks like Mengrire Krenakore has been cut. Fisher misses with an uppercut. Krenakore saw that one coming. Fisher seems to have got his legs back now. Fisher uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Krenakore. Fisher lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Fisher slips a jab from Krenakore. Fisher was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Fisher throws a hook but Krenakore blocks it. Krenakore lands a head shot. Krenakore misses with an uppercut. Krenakore is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fisher had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Fisher misses with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krenakore with a body punch. A glancing blow. Krenakore scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fisher looks to throw the jab but Krenakore is out of range. Fisher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fisher connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Krenakore is rocked! Krenakore throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fisher ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice body punch from Fisher. Fisher ducks under a wild hook from Krenakore. A looping hook to the body misses from Krenakore. Fisher does a little dance to reset his feet. A big left from Krenakore misses. Fisher misses with a hook. Krenakore now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Krenakore throws out a loose jab but Fisher uses good head movement to avoid it. Krenakore drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Krenakore is still on wobbly legs! Can Fisher finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fisher cracks Krenakore with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
