Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22859 p4p, 22940 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 88 - 24 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 95 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A gets caught flat footed, as Fighter B shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fighter A seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fighter A working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fighter B. Fighter A is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fighter B is controlling him. Fighter B loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter A manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter B manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fighter B is trying to keep Fighter A in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A controlling from the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter A as he avoids it easily. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fighter A changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to avoid it but Fighter A manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter B to the ground. Fighter B escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No luck for Fighter B with that takedown attempt. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter B pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Nice sprawl there from Fighter A as Fighter B shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter A sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Fighter A shoots in but no luck this time. Nice takedown defense from Fighter B. No joy for Fighter A on that attempt. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter A appears to be looking for a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt from distance. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B shoots in and drives through. Fighter A sprawls well. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter A closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fighter B's guard. Fighter B controlling the position. Fighter A controls from within his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Fighter A has hold of Fighter B's hands but Fighter B slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Fighter A trying to get back to full guard but Fighter B takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Fighter A keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fighter B throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B misses with some ground and pound and Fighter A recovers position to half guard. Fighter A trying to control from the bottom.
Fighter A is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fighter B is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fighter A is trying to control but Fighter B passes into side control!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A is keeping him busy. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round! Fighter A tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fighter B defends well and Fighter A ends up having to push Fighter B into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A looking for a takedown. Fighter B has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fighter A avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Fighter B drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fighter A gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A wants to take the fight to the mat but Fighter B manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fighter A breaks from the clinch.
Fighter A leaves Fighter B with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Fighter A shoots for a takedown but Fighter B saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter B's waist but Fighter B gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter A off to one side. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fighter A keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B with a lazy takedown attempt and Fighter A counters with a one-two to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A looks for the body kick but Fighter B saw that one coming. Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter A tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter B keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter A manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter A appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fighter A moves into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fighter B.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fighter A has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
