Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Erwin (ranked 5234 p4p, 5619 weight class) and Radu Romanescu (ranked 243 p4p, 269 weight class). Radu Romanescu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Erwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radu Romanescu!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanescu jabs Erwin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Romanescu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Erwin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Erwin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Erwin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Erwin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Romanescu looks for a takedown but Erwin sprawls well.
A counter left hand to the body from Erwin misses its target.
Romanescu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Romanescu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It seemed like Romanescu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Romanescu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Romanescu cracks Erwin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Romanescu connects with a body shot that sends Erwin's belly button to the back.
Romanescu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Erwin.
A shot to the liver by Erwin. Beautiful body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Erwin throws a big shot that misses.
Romanescu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Erwin is breathing heavily.
Romanescu wants to clinch up but Erwin keeps it at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Erwin. Romanescu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Erwin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Erwin throws a wild hook but Romanescu just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Erwin gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Romanescu raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Radu Romanescu!
