Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Diamond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Diego!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Diego darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Diamond tries to clinch up.
Diego changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Diego swings away with a body shot that misses
and Diamond connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Sam Diego has been cut.
Diego cracks Diamond with an open hand slap.
Diamond moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Diego lands a head kick. Diamond smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like James Diamond has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from Diego.
Diamond tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Diamond tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diego swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Diego throws a body punch but Diamond moves out of range.
Diego scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Diego throws a one two combo.

Diamond is rocked!
Diamond swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Diamond throws a leg kick but Diego moved away.
Diego listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Diamond jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A countering left hand to the body from Diego misses.
Diego throws the kick towards the body but Diamond avoids it.
Diamond misses with the combination.
Diamond throws a hook but Diego avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diamond tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Diego paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Diamond looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Diego's corner calls for a 1-2. Diego obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Oh Diamond is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

James Diamond's cut is getting worse.
Diamond throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diamond seems to have got his legs back now.
Diamond doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Diego scores with a nice right hand.
Diamond tries to clinch up

and Diego counters with a nice right hand that sends Diamond toppling to the canvas! Diamond scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Diego finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some wild striking there from Diamond.
Diego is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Diamond shoots in looking for a takedown but Diego manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diamond's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Diamond shoots for a double leg takedown but Diego sprawls well. He's pushed Diamond's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Diamond looks to throw the jab but Diego is out of range.

Diego lands a big head kick that sends Diamond tumbling to the mat! Diego takes a step backwards and waves Diamond back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Diamond ducks into an uppercut from Diego and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
