Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Narong Yeerum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeerum's entrance music is I Love You. A fine choice. Jackson has chosen The Gangsta, The Killa, and The Dope Dealer as his entrance music. Narong Yeerum had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Travis Jackson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Narong Yeerum's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yeerum as he avoids it easily.
Travis Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yeerum connects with a nice looking jab.
Yeerum stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson shoots in but Yeerum avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Narong Yeerum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Jackson.
Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Yeerum moves into the clinch successfully.

Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Yeerum has taken the fight into the clinch.

Yeerum throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jackson's head.

Jackson has hold of one of Yeerum's legs. Yeerum is fighting the takedown attempt but Jackson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Yeerum tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yeerum but Yeerum pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yeerum closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Yeerum makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jackson really felt that one!
Yeerum thuds his shin into the meat of Jackson's side.

and Yeerum counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jackson closes the distance looking for a takedown. Yeerum stuffs it but Jackson still has hold of him. Jackson picks Yeerum up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Jackson slams Yeerum to the floor and that's really hurt Yeerum - he doesn't know where he is! Jackson throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
