Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between El Moreno Duranto (ranked 4665 p4p, 5172 weight class) and Daniel Dux (ranked 276 p4p, 287 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, El Moreno Duranto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Dux! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux throws a head kick that misses. A little feinted left hand from Duranto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Daniel Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dux avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A punch combination from Dux misses. Duranto swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Duranto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice defenses there by Duranto. An attempted straight right counter from Duranto misses the target. Duranto misses the shot to the body. Duranto throws an overhand right that lands on Dux's shoulder, as Dux tries to avoid the shot. Duranto fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dux on the side of the head. Nice shot lands for Duranto. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duranto gets caught flat footed, as Dux shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dux tries to free his leg and advance position but Duranto is retaining full guard. Dux trying to control but Duranto is working from the bottom. Dux is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux gets to his feet. Duranto looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Dux throws a jab but it's blocked by Duranto. Dux tries to bum rush Duranto with a series of wild strikes but Duranto uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dux feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Duranto kicks Dux off and gets to his feet. Dux is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Duranto. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duranto sprawls well. Duranto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dux gets slowly back to his feet. Duranto swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dux scores with a takedown into Duranto's guard. Dux loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dux gets to his feet - Duranto follows without any prompting. Duranto lands with a straight right. Dux didn't see that one coming. Dux throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duranto's waist but Duranto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dux off to one side. Duranto swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dux gets in close and instigates a clinch. Duranto wants to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duranto working hard to break the clinch. Dux is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Duranto to keep the fight standing. El Moreno Duranto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Dux. Dux escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duranto throws a nice looking combination but Dux bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Some wild striking there from Dux.
Dux closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duranto circles away. Dux moves into the clinch. Dux pulls guard. Duranto tries to free his leg and advance position but Dux is retaining full guard. Dux is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Duranto is sitting in close to Dux's body. Dux has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Duranto is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Duranto is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dux.
