Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22903 p4p, 5556 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 97 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 90 - 24 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter A changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Fighter B leaves Fighter A with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fighter B counters with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter B tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter A keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter B manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Fighter B as Fighter A shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fighter B with the counter takedown but Fighter A avoids it easily. Fighter A feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fighter B scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fighter A.
Fighter B shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fighter B prevents Fighter A from improving his position. Fighter B is taking a breather. Fighter A says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A regains full guard. Nicely done. Fighter A is adopting a defensive guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter A not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fighter B counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter A showed some decent athleticism there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Fighter A closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter B, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes Fighter B against the cage but Fighter B circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fighter B throws a big counter head kick but Fighter A avoids it with no problem. Fighter B closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fighter A is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Fighter A controls the position for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter B controlling the position from side mount.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter B lands in his opponent's guard. Fighter B sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B distracts Fighter A with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fighter A working a defensive guard here.
Fighter B throws a big right hand that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A managing to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Nice takedown defense from Fighter B. No joy for Fighter A on that attempt. Fighter B looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fighter B controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A working a defensive guard but Fighter B passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is concentrating on defense, preventing Fighter B from advancing position. Fighter A's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fighter B stalling. Fighter A trying to hold on to Fighter B's head to control him but Fighter B postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fighter A was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A shoots and misses and Fighter B counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fighter B is taking a breather. Fighter A says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Fighter A trying to control from the bottom.
Fighter A is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Fighter A tries to get to full guard but Fighter B has control of the leg. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far. Fighter B is thwarting Fighter A's attempts to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B stuffs the takedown. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A shoots for a takedown but Fighter B saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter B is fending him off so far but Fighter A persists. Nope, Fighter B circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
