Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the ring accompanied by Enter Sandman. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazarus Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Bradley!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley stuffs the takedown.

Bradley rushes Jones and presses him up against the ropes.

Jones manages to pull guard.
Bradley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bradley preventing the sweep.
Bradley trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

Bradley wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
Bradley tries to stand but Jones is controlling from the bottom.

Bradley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bradley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Bradley tries to stand but Jones is controlling from the bottom.
Jones throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Jones is looking for a triangle but Bradley pushes his legs off easily.
Bradley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Jones has his foot on Bradley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bradley works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing Bradley from standing up.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bradley lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bradley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bradley passes into half guard.
Bradley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bradley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bradley has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bradley!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bradley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bradley lands with a right hand.
Jones swings for the body but Bradley moves out of range.
Lazarus Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Bradley moves out of range easily.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bradley pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.
Bradley lands a with a good body shot.
Bradley cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs.
Bradley misses with a wild combination.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bradley's waist but Bradley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Bradley throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.

Bradley misses with a double jab.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bradley circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bradley wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Bradley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Bradley, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Bradley against the ropes but Bradley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lazarus Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bradley walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Bradley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bradley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bradley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bradley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bradley throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bradley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bradley's half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bradley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bradley wants to get back to his feet.
Jones trying to control from half guard but Bradley is working away.
Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Bradley is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Eric Bradley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bradley throws a chopping leg kick but Jones manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jones misses with a double jab
and Bradley counters with a low kick, right behind Jones 's knee.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bradley as he jumps to the side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bradley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Jones prevents Bradley from getting the reversal.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jones looking to secure an arm triangle but Bradley defends it well.
Jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bradley hang on?
Bradley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bradley is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Jones has hold of Bradley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bradley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
You get the feeling that Bradley really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bradley swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Bradley is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Jones swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
