Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuo Shima (ranked 1778 p4p, 1374 weight class) and Alexei Brovarnik (ranked 237 p4p, 193 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shima might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The HU - Yuve Yuve Yu. Brovarnik has chosen Colours - DJ Mind X as his entrance music. Alexei Brovarnik will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Shima, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Brovarnik counters with a nice low kick that buckles Shima's knee momentarily.

Shima presses Brovarnik against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Shima's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Shima counters with a huge left! Brovarnik is in big trouble! He's backing up but Shima isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Brovarnik from any more damage. A dominating finish by Shima!
