Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Osipov (ranked 1457 p4p, 1040 weight class) and Suga Diabeetus (ranked 159 p4p, 118 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Osipov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diabeetus's guard.
Diabeetus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Osipov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diabeetus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Osipov has Diabeetus in his guard.

Osipov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diabeetus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Osipov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Diabeetus is aware though and is defending well.

Osipov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diabeetus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diabeetus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Osipov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Osipov drops back looking for a leg! Diabeetus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diabeetus manages to kick Osipov off! Osipov jumps back into Diabeetus's guard.
