Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23935 p4p, 23955 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 43 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 42 - 34 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mibangon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mibangon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mibangon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut is holding on to half guard well.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still in half guard, Mibangon seems content to control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buut is controlling Mibangon's trapped leg to prevent Mibangon from advancing to side control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buut looks for a takedown but Mibangon sprawls well. Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Buut feints a counter leg kick. Mibangon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Buut was covering up waiting for the punch and Mibangon finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Buut is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Buut keeping moving, preventing Mibangon from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Buut seems keen to control Mibangon's posture. Mibangon preventing the sweep. Buut looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buut but Buut pushes him off and we're back to square one. Buut keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Buut follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mibangon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Buut can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon sneaks out the side door and pushes Buut away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Mibangon looks for a takedown but Buut sprawls well. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buut misses with a takedown attempt and Mibangon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buut's guard. Mibangon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mibangon is fighting to break Buut's control of his arms but Buut is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mibangon stays in close to Buut's body and controls the position. Buut seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon controls from within his opponent's guard. Mibangon trying to control but Buut is working from the bottom. Buut pulls Mibangon in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mibangon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Buut seems keen to control Mibangon's posture.

Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buut keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Buut is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Buut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mibangon napping and manages to drive through into side control! Walay Buut has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mibangon keeps working. Mibangon is trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Minatay Mibangon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mibangon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
