And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sheldon Soucy!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soucy throws a body shot but no joy.
Sheldon Soucy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soucy throws a leg kick
and Liang counters with a takedown into side control.
Liang sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Soucy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Liang scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Soucy to see if he's OK.
Soucy parries the strikes from Liang easily there. Liang is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Soucy to escape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Soucy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Liang in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Soucy looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Liang turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
