The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Woerner as he checks the leg kick.
Leao walks into a straight right hand from Woerner.

It looks like Leandro Leao has been cut.
Woerner takes a swing at Leao's ribcage but misses.
Leao scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Woerner delivers a nice body kick.
Woerner throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Leao counters with a leg kick.
Leao takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Woerner lands a jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Woerner.
Woerner lands with a nice body punch.
Leao looks winded!

Woerner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Leao on the side of the head.
Woerner chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Woerner on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Woerner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Woerner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Woerner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Woerner connects with a single shot there.
Woerner lands a head shot.

That has opened up Leandro Leao's cut even more.
We've been told by Woerner's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leao. Woerner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leao scores with a leg kick.

Woerner cracks Leao with an uppercut from hell and Leao crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Woerner's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The cut above Leandro Leao's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Woerner gets to his feet. Leao looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Woerner takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Leao walks into a straight right hand from Woerner.

Leandro Leao's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Woerner drops Leao with a big left hand and mounts him. Leao is in big trouble!

Leao is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leandro Leao's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
