Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deebo Samuel!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuel throws a poor cross that misses
and Gayweather holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
I was talking to Gayweather's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Gayweather can't break the clinch.
Gayweather breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Samuel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gayweather on the side of the head.

Gayweather moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gayweather clinches up with Samuel and pushes him back against the cage.
Gayweather breaks the clinch.
Samuel gets caught napping as Gayweather dives in and scores a takedown. Samuel manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gayweather cracks Samuel with a solid left hand.

Gayweather drops back looking for a leg! Samuel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Samuel manages to kick Gayweather off! Gayweather jumps back into Samuel's guard.

Gayweather stands and steps away. Samuel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Gayweather counters by moving into the clinch.
Samuel lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Samuel throws a knee to the head but misses.
Samuel keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gayweather's efforts to push away.
Gayweather's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Samuel cracks Gayweather with a left hook right on the temple and Gayweather goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Samuel lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Gayweather is OK!
