Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Maeda (ranked 1615 p4p, 1453 weight class) and Mark Antony (ranked 223 p4p, 203 weight class). Mark Antony has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antony throws a lazy right hand but Maeda sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Maeda misses with a shot to the body
and Antony counters with a straight right hand.
Maeda fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Antony takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Antony walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Mark Antony has been cut.
Maeda throws a left and a right that both miss
and Antony counters with a good low kick that Maeda was not able to check.
Antony takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Antony lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Maeda feints a jab promting Antony to slip. Maeda then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Antony slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
